Frequently Asked Questions

How and when should I take Brainy?
Take 2 softgels daily with meals; one with breakfast and one with lunch. Morning and midday dosing aligns with when mental performance matters most for most people.
When will I notice clearer thinking or better focus?
Most people notice improvements in focus and mental clarity within 2-4 weeks of consistent use. L-theanine tends to work within the first week, resulting a more calm and focused mental state.. Bacopa (bacosides) shows memory improvements after 4-6 weeks of consistent use.
Is it safe to take with other supplements or medications?
Brainy contains Huperzine A, which inhibits the enzyme that breaks down acetylcholine. If you take cholinesterase inhibitors (medications for cognitive conditions), check with your doctor before combining. For healthy adults, it pairs well with Omega-3 and Vitamin D.
What makes this different from a basic B-complex or memory supplement?
Most memory supplements contain one nootropic. Brainy combines four clinically researched cognitive ingredients — bacosides, phosphatidylserine (30%), L-theanine, and Huperzine A — plus methylcobalamin B12 at 41,667% DV. Each works through a different mechanism for memory, focus, calm, and neurotransmitter availability.
Is phosphatidylserine really that well-studied?
Yes, it's one of the few nootropic ingredients with a qualified health claim from the FDA related to cognitive function. Our formula uses phosphatidylserine standardized to 30%, the concentration used in most published research. At 200mg per serving, it meets the dose studied in clinical trials.

These work well for me. They are very large gel caps though and some people may have trouble swallowing them.I love that the vitamin B12 included in the formula is included as methylcobalamin. I can tell that this is a formula that's good for my brain, and I love that they include the huperzine-a in it. Huperzine-a is one of those things I can tell works really well for me- I always have more energy when I take it but it does make me have more vivid dreams too. I feel it really helps my cognition. This also has boacopa in it which is something else that I have found to be personally helpful. I am used to taking both of these things on a regular basis, so I can tell that they are in this product like they're supposed to be.I like this formula because I feel like it's healthy for the brain but also because I do get some immediate feeling that I have a little bit of a cognitive boost. It does not make me have problems going to sleep, and it doesn't make me nervous in any way. It's nothing like caffeine- But because of the huperzine-a, my dreams are more vivid. It's a side effect that I personally like, though some may not.

Good list of ingredients for a mild nootropic effect. I've taken these ingredients before separately, so this basically just combines them. Huperzine-A is probably the best one I've used, and glad to see it here. It's not going to give you a religious experience or "open your third eye," but it does improve my focus. It's not something I really "feel in the moment," but at the end of the day I look back and realize I got a lot of work done with minimal distractions. So don't expect this to change your life, but it can help your focus, working memory, etc.I also like that its made in the USA. My batch also came with a far-out expiry, so no worries about it going bad. The serving size is 2 capsules, but feel free to start with 1 and see how you feel.

Over the years, I've taken a variety of vitamin supplements to assist with relaxation and basic nerve health. Keeping up with your B-vitamins is a good idea for both memory and basic stress/memory health, plus many times I've taken L-Theanine as an individual supplement to assist with an enhanced calm. This combo claims to be good for your brain, where I think its goal is to basically support calm overall. It has been my experience that it does seem to improve sleep, but I may be looking for that, and we need to remember that "we tend to see what we are looking for and hear what we are listening for."I will confirm that the soft gels are huge. As someone who has some difficulty with large pills: that was nearly a deal breaker. I needed to be careful when taking them.I vote that these are absolutely worth trying for more focus and a calmer over all view of life. But they are huge!

This Nutra supplement product contains a blend of ingredients that may be beneficial for cognitive performance, including barcopa extract, L-theanine and several others. It also contains other vitamins, such as C, B6, and B12. Make sure to double-check the list of ingredients to ensure they are safe for you to take. Artificial dyes for red and caramel are included. These are probably safe, but don't serve a purpose. After a week of taking these, I haven't found any benefits yet. I've also not encountered any side effects, so I'm continuing to take them to see what happens. Each dose consists of two massive softgel capsules. It's recommended to take them with a lot of water and a meal.Overall, this is a decent supplement with some appealing ingredients and manufactured in the USA. However, I don't like the artificial food dyes. The value for money is great. The bottle contains a month's supply of softgels, with each dose worth only about $0.30.

The Nutra Bacopa, L-Theanine, Phosphatidylserine & Vitamin C softgels have quickly become one of my favorite supplements for mental clarity and focus. I started taking them to help with concentration during long workdays, and after about a week, I could really feel the difference. My mind feels sharper, my memory recall has improved, and I can stay focused longer without feeling mentally drained.I love that the formula combines Bacopa (with bacosides) for cognitive support and L-Theanine for calm alertness—it gives a steady, focused energy instead of the jittery buzz you might get from caffeine-based products. The Phosphatidylserine and Vitamin C are nice bonuses that support overall brain health and reduce stress. The softgels are easy to swallow and don’t have any weird aftertaste, which I appreciate. I also like that it’s just one serving a day, making it simple to add to my routine.Overall, the Nutra Bacopa blend delivers exactly what it promises: better focus, smoother thinking, and a calm, clear mind. It’s a great natural supplement for anyone looking to support cognitive performance and mental balance—highly recommend!

The bottle arrives neatly sealed with a clean, professional label that lists all the ingredients and benefits in a clear, easy-to-read layout. The softgels are smooth, evenly shaped, and have no noticeable smell or aftertaste, which is a plus for anyone sensitive to strong herbal aromas. The formula itself looks thoughtfully designed, combining amino acids, botanical extracts, and essential nutrients that support focus, calmness, and cognitive function. It gives the impression of a supplement made for balance rather than a quick energy spike. After several days of use, it seems to provide a calm, steady mental clarity rather than a jolt of alertness. Tasks that normally feel scattered come a bit easier to organize, and the overall mood stays more even through the day. It’s subtle but noticeable in small ways—better focus during work, fewer mid-day dips in energy. One minor drawback is that the capsules are slightly large, so taking them requires a full glass of water to go down comfortably. Beyond that, they’re easy on the stomach and fit naturally into a morning or afternoon routine. All in all, this is a solid option for anyone who wants gentle cognitive support and better mental balance without relying on stimulants. It’s ideal for people working long hours, studying, or managing multitasking environments where focus and calm are equally important. Those seeking something fast-acting or energizing might want a different type of formula, but for its price and ingredient quality, it offers good value and a steady sense of clarity.

A few years ago it was suggested to take L-Theanine because of it's reported calming effects. Since then I've been a strong proponent of supplements that contain this ammino acid. This supplement contains 200mg of L-Theanine, and for me I feel like it has the same effects as other supplements.Unlike other variants, this one comes in a liquid gel format, and I feel like it's a bit more effective than other simliar products. It does seem like there's an improving effect on both sleep quality and focus, so the 30 day supply is a pretty good value for the money.Just like other gel-caps, these are pretty easy to swallow, and overall the product seems to be high quality.
